Title: Development of Management Method for Cross-cultural Virtual IT teams

Abstract: The PhD research aims to reveal the mechanism of how cultural factors and characteristics of virtual teams intertwine to influence team performance. Consequently, it seeks to develop a tailored management method to enhance the performance of cross-cultural virtual IT teams which can be adapted for the IT industry. Employing a triangulation approach, the research methodology includes a critical literature review to develop a conceptual model, a survey-based empirical study to verify the model and identify a tailored management method, and a case study to validate the tailored method in a real industry setting.
